What do you mean by Nutrition?
The process of taking in the food which is necessary for growth and nourishment of our health
As our body need nutrients which cannot produce everything so we have to get it from other sources i.e.
• Fruits
• Vegetables
• Meat
• Supplements
As per The WHO(World Health Organization) essential nutrients are crucial in supporting a person's reproduction, good health, and growth.
The WHO divide these essential nutrients into two categories: micro nutrients and macro nutrients.
Micro-nutrients are nutrients that a person needs in small doses. Micro-nutrients consist of vitamins and minerals. Although the body only needs small amounts of them, a deficiency can cause ill health.
Macro-nutrients are nutrients that a person needs in larger amounts. Macro-nutrients include water, protein, carbohydrates, and fats.
There six essential nutrients are:-
• Vitamins• Minerals
• Protein
• Fats
• Water
• Carbohydrates
